A total of three Iranian films are to be screened at the 30th edition of Palm Springs film Festival in the US.
‘Orange Days’ by Arash Lahouti and ‘Cold Sweat’ by Soheil Beiraghi are to be shown in two sections of ‘World Cinema Now’ and ‘U.S. Premieres’.
Oscar-winning ‘A Separation’ by Asghar Farhadi is also among the participants to be screened at the ‘Palm Springs Canon’ section of the event.
In all, the fest will screen 223 films from 78 countries, and will show a slew of Oscar Foreign Language Film entries as well.
Palm Springs International Film Festival (PSIFF) aims to cultivate and promote the art and science of film through education and cross-cultural awareness.
The screening portion of the festival will run Friday, January 3 through Monday, January 14, 2019 in Palm Springs, California.
